Balushahi 
Ingredients
8 cups Sugar
3 cups Water for syrup
6 cups Maida (All purpose flour)
6 – 8 tbsp Ghee (clarified butter) or as needed
1 teaspoon Baking soda
Pure Ghee for deep frying
1/2 cup crushed Pistachios for Garnishing
1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
Instructions
Syrup:
To make a syrup add sugar in a water and boil until it becomes sticky syrup
Balushahi donuts :
Mix Maida and baking soda together and kneading.
Add milk, warm water and cardamom powder gradually and kneading continuously until it becomes stiff dough.
Divide the dough into small balls and flatten it, make small hole in the center or just press by finger in flattened dough.
Now heat ghee and fry the dough in medium flame till it turns golden brown and the size of dough increases.
Now remove dough from sauce pan and pour it into syrup for 10 to 15 minutes.
Remove access syrup.
Garnish with crushed pistachios and serve warm, room temperature or cold as per your taste.
