Tamarind Drumsticks with Masala Rice:- Ingredients
For Drum Sticks:
Chicken Legs (8) ½ kg
Salt 1 tsp
Turmeric ½ tsp
Water 1 cup
Tamarind paste ½ cup
Chaat masala 1 tsp (heaped)
Salt ½ tsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Garam masala powder ½ tsp
Red pepper (crushed) 1 tsp
Oil for shallow fry
For Masala Rice:
Boiled rice ½ kg
Oil ¼ cup
Salt ½ tsp
Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
Turmeric ¼ tsp
Crushed coriander 1 tsp
Cumin (roasted & crushed) 1 tsp
Ginger garlic Paste 1 tsp
Chaat masala 1 tsp
Garam masala powder 1 tsp
Chicken Powder 1 tbsp
Spring Onions (finely chopped) 1 cup

Cooking Directions
For Chicken Legs: Boil chicken legs in 1 cup of water with salt and turmeric till water dries and chicken nearly tender.
In a bowl mix together tamarind pulp, chat masala, salt, ginger garlic paste, red pepper and garam masala powder. Marinate chicken legs in this mixture for half an hour.
Heat oil in pan and fry drumsticks until get a nice golden color. Remove and keep aside.
For Rice: Heat quarter cup oil; add salt, crushed red pepper, turmeric, coriander, cumin, ginger garlic paste, chaat masala, garam masala and chicken powder with ½ cup water. Cook for a minute.
Add boiled rice, mix well and leave it on dum for 10 minutes.
Dish out rice, top with drum sticks and garnish with spring onions. Serve.
